An insider’s guide to Dubai

Dubai, well known for its luxury living and year round sunshine, but there’s so much more to this city than just that. Dubai is full of hidden gems which are a must see for any tourist looking to get the most out of their trip. We’re here to let you in on the secrets and tell you all about the best unmissable spots.

Old Dubai

If history and culture is your bag, then you have to make a trip to Old Dubai. Home of Al Bastakiya and the infamous gold souk, you’re guaranteed to walk away with a new found knowledge of Dubai’s past, along with a few gold goodies for the family.

Dubai Offshore Sailing Club

DOSC is the perfect spot whether you’re after a day of chilling by the beach or looking for a place with the best ‘pub grub’ around. Spend the day sat listening to the waves gently wash up on the shore whilst enjoying, what we think, is some of the best food you can get your hands on without the solid gold price tag. Not to mention the 5 star views, the ocean one side, and Burj Dubai the other.

Barasti

If you’re looking for somewhere to spend your nights eating great food and partying on the beach, then Barasti is the place for you. Best get your camera ready for the insane views of Dubai’s skyline once the sun sets, definitely something you won’t want to miss.

Miracle Gardens

We couldn’t write about hidden gems without mentioning The Miracle Gardens. Being the world’s largest natural flower garden is definitely something to be proud of and one to add to the itinerary. If you’re a bit of a photography fiend, THIS is the place for you.
