Sophia Sinot says no to the minimal makeup ‘clean girl aesthetic’…

Recently seen from tour images and social media posts, Larsson has leaned into vivid colour, shimmer and playful detailing. Moving away from the trend that dominated beauty ideas, minimal ’clean girl’ makeup, Larsson’s longtime makeup artist Sophia Sinot has been credited for shaping her new look. Blossoming colours and glitter everywhere but perfectly executed. Her Midnight Sun tour saw a paid partnership with Maybelline NY which caused circulations online and increased inspired recreations across TikTok and Instagram.

Upcoming music video?

Her beauty looks, although are amazing, aren’t the only thing fans are talking about. December buzz also surrounded news of an upcoming music video collaboration with PinkPantheress. Set to drop early 2026, the pair recently collaborated on the track Stateside which was a part of PinkPantheress’s album ‘Fancy Some More?’. The track remains the number one spot on PinkPantheress’s Spotify profile, and number three on Larsson’s, of course due to the tracks popularity which helped amass views on TikTok.

The ‘Lush Life’ viral TikTok dance…

‘Lush Life’, a song by Larsson which was released in 2015, has also been seen to be resurfacing in popularity. Clips of her on tour bringing up fans to the stage to complete a dance during the chorus have gone viral. The dance itself is now a viral dance trend all over TikTok and for those that got the opportunity to actually dance on stage with Zara, have now seen themselves gain slight followings too. Even though ‘Lush Life’ was released in 2015, and is still now climbing the charts, fans are claiming that the 2026 really is the new 2016.

Larsson continues to balance playful Y2K influences with modern pop star qualities. From tour looks to winter getaway outfits shared online. Together, her style, beauty, and music feel increasingly cohesive. Entering 2026 with exciting collaborations and a newly found aesthetic, will Larsson inspire any of your makeup looks for 2026?
