5 things to know about Carbon Live.

Carbon Live is back! Here’s everything you need to know!

About us.

So, you want to know more about Carbon live? You’ve come to the right place! But first here’s a little bit about us. Carbon is building its reputation as being an inspirational and creative platform for young creatives. Carbon is a print magazine brand created and run by the writers and designers of BA (Hons) Fashion Media and Solent University in Southampton and has already earned its position as a vibrant print and digital product showcasing some of the best talents in art, fashion and culture. We’re a group of university students always looking to expand our expertise by coming up with new and initiative ways of changing the game. This year, we’re bringing back Carbon Live- but due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, this year’s fun will be online only.

The Events.

Carbon Lives are hosting a weeklong of wellness events called Carbon’s Feel-Good Festival! The events are split into two main categories; Masterclasses and Podcasts. There will be a yoga masterclass, a mocktail masterclass and a beauty masterclass, all hosted by professionals via Instagram live! The podcasts will be hosted by three different speakers who will speak about topics such as mental health, self-love, fashion and an agony uncle podcast who will be giving Carbon’s listeners the best advice possible.

The Benefits.

This year we’ve decided to focus on wellness for CarbonLive, and after living through two lockdowns these events are exactly what we need! There are so many benefits to living mindfully and Carbon is here to make sure you’re looking after your mental wellbeing as well as your physical. With masterclasses ranging from finding your zen with our Yoga professional, getting rejuvenated with our tasty mocktails and discovering all the new ways beauty and skincare are helping our wellbeing. Along with Podcasts from guests Chlo Davie (@chlodavie) who’ll be discussing all things fashion and wellness, Simon Glazella (@theverysimong) who’ll be taking part as our agony uncle and finishing off the week will be the lovely Liv Grace (@livv.gracee) who will be talking all about body positivity & self-love/care!

Carbon Live’s will be taking place via Instagram live over on @carbononcampus’s Instagram with the masterclasses taking place November the 24th, 26th, and the 28th with the Podcasts taking place 23rd, 25th and the 27th of November. A whole week of wellness!
