Black Friday Breakdown

Black Friday sales have been teased by all your fave online clothing companies this week. Unless you live under a large rock, you’ve undoubtedly been bombarded by them.

Black Friday sales get bigger and bolder every year. Online fashion retailers have made sometimes questionable reputations for themselves including the likes of advertising 2p dresses in previous years and 99% off discount codes.

If you might have somehow missed last year’s big fashion deals, these are the top places to keep an eye out for leading up to Friday. If you’ve been keeping up to date with your socials you’ll see that brands are already on it dropping plenty of stunning bargains for our winter wardrobes.

Pretty little thing made their mark on Black Friday sales in 2020 with their pink Friday event, running up to their 99% off sale. Items were as cheap as 2p, effectively free.
The brand faced a lot of backlash and was questioned about how ethical and sustainable the company was, however, that didn’t stop them. This year they’ve taken it one step further even advertising items as £0.00, they said it themselves with their tagline “it doesn’t make sense”…

Boohoo man is also offering decent discounts this year, although the subsidiary of the label is targeted towards men, don’t let that deter you. Gendered clothing should never get in the way of a good fit.

Moving to the other end of the sale, Superdrug have a 55% off sale on fragrances for both him and her. The brands available include the likes of Marc Jacobs, Dolce and Gabbana, Versace and Paco Rabanne.

Foot asylum are promoting a discount of up to 60% this Friday. What makes them stand out from the crowd this year is that alongside the big price cuts they are also still offering their 20% off student discount.
