Doggy Style; The New Craze

Your wardrobe may be up to date with the latest trends, but is your dog’s?

The idea of your precious pup even having their own wardrobe might sound a little crazy, but it’s a new trend that’s only getting more and more popular.

From high end brands to the high street, doggy jumpers, hoodies, bespoke collars and coats have taken over our Instagram and Pinterest feeds, making it almost impossible to own a dog and not want to buy them a Zara jacket.

Zara Raincoat

So, who do we have to thank for this adorable new trend? Well, we’ve all seen the comeback of 2000s style, and one undeniable icon of that era is Paris Hilton, who we rarely saw without her pampered pooch – often in her handbag, sporting a pink jumper.

The chances are you now just want to know where you can get one of these coats so you can start playing doggy dress-up, so here’s the 3 High Street brands with great puppywear collections:

  1. Zara

Not only have Zara brought out an Autumn/Winter collection of quilted jackets, cosy sweaters and waterproof raincoats, but they’re even selling fluffy beds to keep your pups stylish even when they’re sleeping.

2. H&M

Quilted coats aren’t just a womenswear trend anymore, in fact try not to get too upset when you spot your dog looking even cuter wearing it than you! These H&M pieces are too cute to handle and are super affordable too.

3. Bershka

Both Primark and Bershka have come out with collections with the NBA recently, but Bershka have created sweaters and an adorable collar designed for dogs too. Why not buy a matching sweater from the NBA collection and twin with your little best friend?

So, what do you think? Will you be buying your dog the wardrobe of their dreams?
