London fashion week is back baby: Here’s what to expect…
Buckle up, fashion gurus, you know what September holds for us all. Landing on the 18th to 22nd, the hustle and bustle of the city is churning in, in preparation for the long wait of anticipation. Yes, fashion week has returned and is going to strike the city of history and culture with a bang. Reclaiming its stage, or shall I say runway, for yet another year. Expect a beautifully curated blend of iconic fashion Houses as well as fresh-faced designers to strike the streets of London and really show us where it’s at. We’re talking, Simone Rocha, Burberry, Pippa Todorson, the winter house and many more to strike us with some history in the making garments.
Some of the key trends and aesthetics to dominate the stage we know you already adore. Still in your pink bow era? I promise you’ll thrive in this one. Think of them but oversized this time. The bigger the better. Colliding with that bubble hem and puff sleeves look, left and right and centre, cute but with an empowering twist. Volume and drama will override the whole stage, enormous any form you can think of, silhouettes, Maximalism, over the top fringes and embellishments that will capture every light source.

Now how can you prepare your fashion game this season?
go bold or other classic twist, infuse your wardrobe with classic patterns of floral or perhaps plaid to elevate a timeless statement along with an exuberant colour scheme to fuse with it. or perhaps an oversized blazer paired with maximum contrast of accessories all over, serving chic, powerful, and down right “Dgaf attitude”. And of course, we cannot forget keep our eyes and ears out for brands that are doing good, up cycling, adaptive fits and ethically conscious movements. Sustainability truly draws out the most ethereal aura to your vibe and outfit we so adore.
London fashion week is more than just an average showcase, especially this year, it can be fun a playful blend of experimenting trends in using culture, reclaiming power consciously and politically. Yes, through pot sleeves, dreamlike aesthetics and sustainable couture creativity and embrace the fashion week speaks louder than so many words ever can.
