#TheStreetScene: Nas has changed everything we’ve ever thought about Clarks

Nas for Clarks x Aimé Leon Dore

Clarks just got even cooler!

Clarks Originals are set to release their newest collaboration today, with Aimé Leon Dore putting their own spin on the iconic Wallebee silhouette. The collaboration with the in-demand fashion brand from New York City has sparked a lot of attention from hip-hop fans across the globe, alongside sneakerheads, with the legendary Nas being the face of the campaign.

With the original Clarks Wallabee playing a long and successful part of hip-hop’s history, it is no surprise that they have called upon one of the greatest rappers of all time. Having released several multi-platinum records since the 90s, Nas is the perfect figure to be at the forefront of this campaign. With music icons such as the Wu-Tang Clan having previously collaborated with Clarks on many occasions, it clearly shows how highly thought of the Wallebee style is.

Aimé Leon Dore have had a massive growth in success since the company was first founded in 2014. Especially due to their highly sought-after collaborations with sportswear trainer brand New Balance, which spanned over three seasons from 2019-2020. After also collaborating with brands such as New Era and Timberland in the past, their latest partnership with Clarks is set to be their most exciting one yet.

Clarks have always been the leading go-to brand for footwear since 1825 when the company was first established, but in more recent times they have been known for their school shoe styles. With the brand also venturing into the highly-valuable streetwear market, this limited-edition release from Clarks and Aimé Leon Dore is set to be extremely successful no matter what.

Releasing officially for Aimé Leon Dore in-store and online here from Friday 20th November, and then followed through with specific retailers on Wednesday 25th November, this is something you don’t want to sleep on.
