How To Look Stylish And Save The World

To celebrate World Earth Day, we’ve put together some of the best sustainable fashion brands so you can look stylish and help save the world at the same time! With sustainability being one of the biggest trends at the moment, a lot more brands have decided to become sustainable and show their participation towards saving the environment.

Stella McCartney

Stella McCartney describes her brand visual as “sharp tailoring, natural confidence and sexy femininity.” She refuses to use leather or fur and says it’s just a part of a commitment to leading “a responsible, honest, and modern company.” Stella McCartney uses innovative processes and sustainable materials including organic cotton, forest-friendly fibres, recycled polyester and regenerated cashmere whilst making her products. She writes on her website that ‘eco’ shouldn’t be a world that immediately conjures up images of oatmeal-coloured fashion or garments that are oversized or lacking in any sort of luxury, beauty, detailing or desirability.

Reformation is a fashion brand worn by popular celebrities and models such as Emily Ratajkowski, Kendall Jenner, Emma Roberts and Kaia Gerber. The brand creates an effortless feminine silhouette from sustainable fabrics, such as rescued old stock materials and repurposed vintage clothing. They do not just care about the environment as they also provide health benefits so you know you’re spending your money wisely when purchasing their products. The brand only works with people ‘who share a common vision of sustainability, accountability and transparency’ and it’s committed to minimising its environmental impact and achieving fair, safe and healthy working conditions throughout its supply chain.

However, Director and Founder of E.L.V (East London Vintage) Denim, Anna Foster creates stylish pieces than most anywhere else on the market.
