Today we are celebrating World Nutella Day, a day to commemorate one of the best edible things humankind has ever created, together with crumpets and microwave popcorn: Nutella. This chocolate spread had been around since 1963, however, it wasn’t until February 5th, 2007 when Sara Rossed, an American blogger, celebrated it for the first time.
Like Sara, a lot of people love Nutella and they would like to celebrate that they have it on their lives. After the first Nutella day, thanks to social media, this day was spread and started being quite popular. It was in 2015 when Sara, seeing how many people had followed her idea, decided to transfer it to Ferrero, the company that owns Nutella.
The company decided to make the day official and proposed different ways to celebrate this special day.
It doesn’t matter how you choose to celebrate Nutella – the brand gives many different options on their website. You can make a recipe using Nutella, share Nutella with people you love, write a song or poem about it or introduce someone to Nutella for the first time, amongst others. You can use your imagination and do whatever you want, but always with Nutella!
We decided to celebrate the World Nutella Day with delicious recipes that we will share in the next lines:
