How frustrating is it having 1,000 different hair tools!? All those wires getting tangled and needing a whole salon to store them – no thanks!
Perfect for beginners and hair experts, this is the answer to all of your prayers- the Mark Hill Pick ‘N’ Mix range. With a handle that is compatible with 14 different barrels, you’ll be able to achieve the looks of your dreams whilst keeping storage to a minimum.
Here are a few of my favourite barrels.
- Straight and curl barrel
This is my absolute fave! If you’re anything like me, then you’re very indecisive, which, when you’re traveling means you take a whole suitcase just for hair and makeup but never end up using half the stuff you packed, it was for those ‘just in case’ moments. This barrel allows you to switch up your look with just one tool, amazing! It is super easy to use and creates your desired look quickly and effortlessly.
- Smoothing brush barrel
This barrel is great for waving goodbye to frizz. It does exactly what it says- smooths your hair. I like using this barrel after I have finished blow drying my hair so that if I straighten it after, it’s not as if I’m trying to straighten a lion’s mane – if you have thick, wavy/curly hair, you’ll understand my struggles! I also love this barrel for second day straight hair as it helps to remove any kinks and fly aways you may have. Going in with a hair oil afterwards will also help to reduce frizz whilst making your hair look healthy and shiny. A personal favourite is the Olaplex No.7 bonding oil.
- Glam waver barrel
Now, I don’t know about you, but I am living for those Molly Mae big glam curls right now and this barrel will help you to achieve this look. The key to this look, is to make sure you brush out the curls with a wide tooth comb after the hair has cooled. This will help to loosen the curl, creating big bouncy curls.
- Mermaid waver barrel
Everyone is loving mermaid waves at the moment and it’s easy to see why! Afterall, who wouldn’t want big princess hair? For tighter beachy waves, hold the hair in the barrel for at least 8 seconds and for more subtle waves, release the hair sooner.
If you’re wanting to try this range (which I know you are), there is currently 30% of the Mark Hill website with the code ‘BLACKFRIYAY’, making this the perfect time to up your hair game!
