Carbon’s 6 best home workouts you’ll actually enjoy

Back in March home workouts became all the rage and gyms were a thing of the past. Many people adjusted to this change and grew to love working out at home rather than going to the gym.

So, if you’re like Laura and prefer the freedom of working out at home, Carbon has rounded up the best YouTube work out videos for you to try:  


YouTuber and fitness influencer Maddie have a variety of exercises on her channel. If the thought of doing burpees and squats fill you with dread, Maddie has dancing videos, so it doesn’t feel like you’re working out! Check out her 2000’s dance workout here.  

Fitness Blender 

Fitness Blender have over 600 free full-length videos on their channel, so you’ll have plenty to choose from. Some of their videos can be brutal but super rewarding when you finish them. They also show how many calories you’re burning on the screen which is super helpful.  


POPSUGAR Fitness has all the workouts you can think of, ranging from Zumba to boxing. They feature celebrity trainers on their channel, a personal favourite is Jeanette Jenkins. She has a 45-minute kickboxing workout that is fun and burns major calories.  

Heather Robertson 

If you are into weightlifting and want to build or maintain muscle this channel is perfect for you. Even if you’re not a fan of weights or don’t have any at home she has non-equipment workouts. Popular videos on her channel are her no-repeat workouts so if there’s a move in there you hate, don’t worry you only have to do it for 40 seconds! 

XHit Daily  

This channel has videos from a few years ago now but is effective none the less. They have a playlist dedicated to celebrity workouts, like a Miley Cyrus leg workout. The trainer in the videos is super encouraging and will keep you motivated throughout.  

Pamela Reif 

Pamela’s workouts are quick but deffo make you sweat! Her channel ranges from quick booty and ab workouts to intense HITT routines. Also, she doesn’t talk in her videos so if you prefer to listen to music this is perfect for you.
