What products should you use to create a banging base for your makeup?

Charlotte tilbury comes to mind, but we know money doesn’t grow on trees so here are a few tried and tested dupes that’ll make your base makeup glowy and gorgeous.

The first step is to moisturise your face and neck, start with a clean face and use AT LEAST two different moisturising products. We find that usually one isn’t enough, start with an oil and then use a facial moisturiser. The biggest mistake you could make is applying makeup onto a unprepared face.

The Ordinary. creates a range of super affordable skincare and this natural moisturising factors formula is perfect to use under you base makeup.

Use cream products like cream blush and contour first under your foundation, this gives a more natural beauty look to your makeup. If you want a soft glam look, these are the products you need.

E.L.F Halo Glow Liquid filter is a great dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless filter, there are also other brands that do a great job of replicating the same job that the flawless filter creates such as the Collection Filter finish complexion booster primer and illuminator.

Glow like you’ve been sunbathing all day and look your best while you party the night away. Milk makeup is great for that no makeup glass skin look. This bronzer has a cool tone as to not make you look orange and a light finish so you don’t look muddy and uneven.
